We’re thrilled to welcome Andrew Lester as an ARA Ambassador
We are delighted to announce that Andrew Lester has officially joined Alzheimer’s Research Australia (ARA) as an Ambassador.
His deep commitment, demonstrated leadership, and personal connection to our cause make him a perfect advocate in our mission to transform dementia research.
Why Andrew?
Andrew has already helped raise thousands of dollars in support of ARA’s work, and his ongoing passion drives public awareness and action. In addition to his fundraising efforts, Andrew frequently shares moving, personal reflections on LinkedIn about his family’s journey – especially his father’s experience with Alzheimer’s and transition into care. His vulnerability and voice help put a human face to the challenges of dementia.
Last year, he garnered widespread media attention for a 500 km jet ski challenge, covered by Channel 7 Gold Coast, to raise funds for dementia research. We’re excited to support and highlight his upcoming challenge, where Andrew and a group of friends will aim to complete a 500 km ride in a single day- all in the name of advancing research.
