Professor Sohrabi’s research is dedicated to the early-stage detection of dementia, with a primary focus on Alzheimer’s disease, and the development of preventive strategies against cognitive decline caused by pathological factors. He actively participates in numerous national and international research initiatives and boasts a substantial portfolio of over 120 peer-reviewed publications.
Professor Sohrabi’s journey commenced in 1996 when he embarked on his career as a clinical psychologist following the completion of his MSc degree at the Tehran Psychiatric Institute, Iran University of Medical Sciences. In 2010, he earned his PhD in Psychiatry and Clinical Neurosciences from the University of Western Australia, marking a pivotal milestone in his academic and research endeavours.
